In addition to the visible environmental impact of each type of packaging, there was discussion about the possibility of substituting them, what motivates (better, what should motivate) customers to use more renewable packaging and what sustainability actually means.
This is a key issue in Europe. That’s why, under Horizon 2020, completely new technologies for plastics recycling are being developed or are already on the market. But the problem is that this know-how is not well known in the Czech Republic and Czechs are not very interested in it.
